Friendship

I consider friendship a very special treasure,
friends are gifts from God to show our good measure.

Friends remind us that we are not going through this life all alone.
One of Gods reminders, one of the ways we are shown.

Friends are a hint that there is support to lean upon,
that it is not our strength alone that we need lean on.

Friends are proof that someone listens and does hear,
just a reminder that He hears our every prayer.

Friends needs show there is a purpose for our life,
even though it may oft be fraught with strife.

When our time here is over and has come to an end,
may others, reminded of you, think "God sent me that friend!"
